Pre-Construction Estimator
Position Description:
Responsible for technical estimating, Pre-Construction services including detailed quantity take-offs, qualification of work items, preparation of conceptual estimates, bid solicitation, project and trade scope development, obtaining, preparing, pricing and processing of computerized data, analyzing trade proposals and purchasing project trades, prepare, coordinate, review and distribute construction estimates and preliminary project schedules in accordance with Company policy and procedures, workflow and work instructions; oversee the preparation of conceptual cost models, budgets and maximum pricing based on historic cost data; perform quantitative analysis of construction documents and project requirements; analyze project, design, costs and subcontractor input and provide comparisons, cost savings, and other recommendations, prepare reports and analysis pertinent to construction estimating.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management
- 18 months experience
- Must have LEED Green Associate Certification
- Must have knowledge of residential & commercial construction including luxury high-rise condominiums, custom home renovation, mix-use structures, commercial office building s & tenant fit-outs and tenant improvements.
- Computer skills including: OnScreen Take-off; Revit Architecture 2011; Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Projects; Basecamp Project Coordination; ViewPoint Software; Timberline Office/Project Management
