Commerce Bank (TD Bank presently) is one of the fasting growing banks in South Florida. The South County Branch in Palm Beach provided the design team and Commerce Bank itself a unique challenge. The bank decided to work with Woolems, Inc. solely on our reputation with the Town of Palm Beach and our dedication to making their project a reality. The Palm Beach branch was to be their showpiece.
The branch, which is located on one of the busiest streets in Palm Beach, consisted of constructing a building inside of a building. There was a catch, the building which sits directly on top of the sidewalk, had to be constructed without impacting pedestrian or vehicular traffic and work hours were limited to 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This distinctive test showcased our ability to build a complex design in an extremely restricted environment and still meet the opening date.
